We are proud to say that our customers have rated our KITS very high in terms of sound quality. This, we believe, is due to our design philosophy and our choice of high quality components. Still, we have to admit that even our KITs can be “improved”. We are getting a lot of feedback from our customers and, of course, we do a lot of experimenting ourselves. The result of this is an evolutionary improvement of our KITs. Minor improvements are considered “Upgrades”. The upgrades can be as simple as changing a few passive components, but they can also involve some rework of the topology. The Upgrades can be done on the existing PCBs, simply by changing/removing/adding components. If the improvement involves a significant change of topology, which cannot be accommodated on the existing PCB, then we design a new one and give it a new designation.
One note of caution is necessary here. The Upgrades we are talking about in the links below might be very subtle and it requires an audio chain of very high resolution to fully appreciate the result. Some of the changes are also affecting the personal listening preferences of individuals and can therefore not be quantified. These Upgrades are offered in the best intention of improving your listening pleasure, but no guaranty can be given for their result.
